In the thirties, the Hungarian-born Etienne AIGNER celebrated his first success as a bag designer at Paris Haute Couture shows. In the fifties, the presentation of his own collection in New York followed – for the first time carrying the typical “A” in horseshoe shape. This was the beginning of a success story that is still bearing fruit today.
